Regional Reps
OAEA has divided the state into 7 geographic regions and includes one specifically for private schools. The primary responsibility of OAEA Regional Representatives is to act as the liaison between the Board and the art educators in their region.
Most often this is accomplished through email sharing OAEA news, and soliciting information and input.
What are the perks of being a Regional Rep?

Have access to funds that they can use to provide occasional regional workshops/meetings/gatherings to bring people together, meet, make art, connect and have some fun.

Attend quarterly Board meetings (in person or virtually)

Have one vote per region to be used to represent the needs and desires of art educators in their area.

Work with the Board to develop programs and opportunities for educators.
