PORTLAND ART MUSEUM

Stay up-to-date on special exhibitions, events, opportunities for educators at Oregon's largest art museum.  Check out the re-vamped educator resource page:

http://portlandartmuseum.org/page.aspx?pid=489

All educator events are free, but require registration through PAM's website in advance of events. There is the option to attend events for credit (one graduate credit) through PSU, graded Fall and Spring term. This is available starting with the Fall Educator Workshop on Saturday, September 14, from 9am to noon in the Miller Room:   "Photographer Robert Adams:  The Question of Hope" (click here).

Other Portland Art Museum news:

Discounted Educator Membership (!!!) at the Museum: 25% off any membership level, but you need to purchase it at the museum and show something to prove you are a teacher (license, school id, letter from admin...).

Educator Newsletter:    Because PAM was able to integrate educators into the museum's website, there is an educator newsletter you can subscribe to once you log in (under email preferences), so the education department can send out regular e-news to the teaching audience.
